Quality Assurance Engineer (Junior/Associate)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to protect the stability and security of our trading platform. This junior/associate position will work closely with developers and product teams to design test plans, automate regression suites, and ensure every release meets high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for new features and releases.
• Build, maintain, and run automated end‑to‑end and integration test suites using Playwright, Cypress, or comparable frameworks.
• Identify, reproduce, and document defects clearly, then verify fixes through to closure.
• Validate REST API contracts and edge cases with tools such as Postman or Insomnia.
• Track and report quality metrics including coverage, defect density, and release health across sprints.
• Collaborate with engineers and product owners to define acceptance criteria and quality gates.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in software QA, preferably in a B2B SaaS or fintech environment.
• Strong attention to detail and clear written communication.
• Solid understanding of test design techniques and the software testing lifecycle.
• Ability to work on‑site in Amman and partner effectively with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Playwright or Cypress (or comparable end‑to‑end testing framework).
• Postman or Insomnia for API testing.
• Familiarity with issue tracking and version control tools such as Jira and Git.
