Quality Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Officer to join Lesaffre Jordan’s food‑quality team. The role supports the production of yeast and baking ingredients by ensuring that raw materials, in‑process batches and finished products meet strict safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine QC testing (chemical, physical and microbiological) on raw, in‑process and finished goods following GMP, HACCP and ISO‑FSSC guidelines.
• Carry out packaging and hygiene inspections, including package integrity, label verification, weight/volume checks, line clearance and sample traceability.
• Document deviations and out‑of‑specification results, assist with CAPA actions and contribute to data trending and basic root‑cause analysis.
• Coordinate quality communication with Production, Packaging, Warehouse and Logistics, delivering on‑floor quality and hygiene briefings.
• Support internal and external audits, prepare documentation and help update regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology or Chemistry.
• 2–4 years of experience in food or dairy QC/QA.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP and ISO/FSSC standards.
• Excellent accuracy in data recording and reporting.
• Effective teamwork, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
