Quality Team Lead

About the role

As a Quality Team Lead at Aspire, you will own end‑to‑end quality assurance for digital banking channels. You will guide testing across multiple release cycles, ensuring thorough test planning, execution, and stakeholder communication to deliver high‑quality banking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define test strategy, scope, and approach for each release.
• Estimate effort, timelines, and allocate resources.
• Lead and mentor a team of Test Engineers, assigning tasks and monitoring daily progress.
• Coordinate test cycles, manage test data, environments, and ensure readiness.
• Oversee defect triage, lifecycle management, and drive continuous improvement through metrics.
• Act as primary QA liaison for Product Owners, Development, and Integration teams.
• Validate integrations with Core Banking (Equation), card systems (HPS PowerCARD), SWIFT, loyalty, brokerage, and other external services.
• Introduce automation and optimise testing efficiency across web, iOS, and Android platforms.

Required profile

• Strong experience in banking application testing.
• Proven track record leading and managing QA teams.
• Deep understanding of functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Experience in Agile delivery environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
