Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor (10–15 Years)

About the role

WSP in the Middle East is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its Amman office. The role will support the cost management and commercial delivery of property and building projects across the region, ensuring financial performance aligns with client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage pre‑ and post‑contract quantity surveying activities across all project phases.
• Review contractor submissions, valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Prepare cost estimates, cost plans and commercial reports.
• Support contract administration and commercial management activities.
• Assess variations, claims, extensions of time and change‑management processes.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor project costs and ensure alignment with approved budgets and commercial objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 10–15 years of experience in quantity surveying and commercial management.
• Proven experience delivering property and building projects, preferably in Saudi Arabia or the UAE.
• Experience within an engineering consultancy, PMC or multidisciplinary project environment.
• MRICS qualification is highly preferred.
