Recreational Services Associate

About the role

The Recreational Services Associate supports daily operations of the Morale Welfare & Recreation (MWR) center, lounge/bar, learning resource center, theater, media center and related services. The role ensures a welcoming environment, handles customer interactions, and maintains equipment and inventory for a variety of recreational activities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform cashier, bartending, and customer service duties across all recreational facilities.
• Maintain cleanliness, basic repairs, and inventory levels for equipment, supplies, and alcoholic beverages.
• Set up and break down government‑furnished equipment for events, tours, and cultural activities.
• Provide complimentary snacks, manage bottled‑water stocking, and ensure a safe, sanitary atmosphere.
• Track and issue CAC equipment to guests, and complete weekly inventory audits.
• Monitor escort duties for the LN workforce in accordance with relevant directives and obtain required escort badge.
• Complete all Vectrus and Government‑required training and adhere to time‑reporting procedures.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to interact professionally with diverse guests.
• Attention to detail for inventory management and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to follow safety, security and procedural guidelines.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including event set‑up and breakdown.
