Recreational Services Associate

About the role

The Recreational Services Associate supports daily operations of the Morale Welfare & Recreation (MWR) center, lounge/bar, learning resource center, theater, media center and related services. The role combines customer service, bar and lounge duties, basic facility maintenance, inventory control and event support to ensure a welcoming and safe environment for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Perform cashier, bartending and lounge support duties, including alcohol sales and inventory tracking.
• Provide front‑line customer service, guide tours, and assist with special events, games, cultural trips and day outings.
• Execute basic maintenance, cleaning, equipment setup and breakdown for government‑furnished items such as tables, chairs, music systems and stages.
• Maintain and monitor facility equipment, track CAC equipment issuance, and ensure stocked supplies (snacks, bottled water, etc.).
• Carry out escort duties for the LN workforce in compliance with 332 AEWI and AFCENTI 32‑1002, obtaining the required escort badge.
• Complete all Vectrus and Government‑required training, safeguard government and contractor property, and accurately report time and complete timesheets.

Required profile

• Strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service in a recreational setting.
• Ability to follow safety, sanitation and security procedures and maintain a clean, professional atmosphere.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain an escort badge and adhere to relevant military regulations.
• Reliability in completing mandatory training and accurate time‑keeping.
