Recruitment Officer (for internal and external candidates)

About the role

UNRWA, the United Nations agency dedicated to assisting 5.8 million registered Palestine refugees, is looking for a Recruitment Officer to lead the selection of internal and external candidates. The role supports UNRWA’s wide‑range services—including education, health care, relief, social services, camp infrastructure, micro‑finance and emergency assistance—by ensuring the organization attracts qualified personnel. Reporting to the Human Resources Career Management Officer, the incumbent will work within a staff complement of more than 30 000 employees funded largely by voluntary contributions. UNRWA operates in Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, providing assistance to refugees in these territories.
