Regulatory Reporting Analyst

About the role

The Regulatory Reporting Analyst works within the Controllers Organisation to ensure timely, accurate, and complete preparation, validation, and submission of key regulatory reports and tax returns to supervisory authorities. The role collaborates with Finance, Risk, Treasury, FP&A, Operations and other business units.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit regulatory returns, financial statements and other reports to local regulators, adhering to Central Bank of Jordan regulations and local statutory requirements.
• Support regulatory change management and ensure ongoing compliance with applicable rules.
• Handle tax matters, including monthly tax settlements with local tax authorities.
• Assist with month‑end closing, sub‑ledger maintenance and required journal entries.
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls over regulatory reporting.
• Escalate issues related to transactions, processes, reports or procedures and ensure proper control execution.
• Participate in ad‑hoc requests, automation projects, system enhancements and finance transformation initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience in financial services industry with a focus on regulatory reporting.
• Knowledge of tax requirements and related regulations.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, able to synthesize complex concepts.
• Technical problem‑solving ability and capacity to identify and escalate discrepancies.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment and work effectively in a team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
