Remote Quality Assurance Tester

About the role

This is a full-time remote Quality Assurance Tester position. The tester designs, executes and documents manual test cases for web and software applications so that functionality, reliability and performance meet defined standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review requirements and specifications
• Execute tests across different environments
• Report defects with clear documentation and validate fixes
• Conduct regression testing and take part in test planning
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts and product owners to resolve issues
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and standards

Required profile

• Strong QA and manual testing skills for software and web applications
• Experience creating, maintaining and optimising test cases
• Solid analytical skills to interpret requirements, find defects and troubleshoot
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently remotely, manage priorities and meet deadlines
• Relevant experience in technology consulting or enterprise software, and a degree in computer science, information systems or a related field, are beneficial

Required skills

• Familiarity with defect tracking tools and test management systems
• Understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies such as regression, functional, integration and user acceptance testing
