Remote YouTube Video Editor for Growing Channel

About the role

We are looking for a creative Video Editor to shape the visual identity of a brand‑new YouTube channel that covers business advice, productivity, book summaries, Notion tutorials and the channel‑building journey. The role starts with editing 1‑2 videos per week and can grow as the channel expands.

Key responsibilities

• Edit 1‑2 videos weekly (initially 6‑12 min, potentially up to 30 min).
• Handle the full editing workflow: trimming, transitions, audio balancing, colour correction, and final export.
• Adapt editing style to each series – storytelling for book explanations, motivational for business content, instructional for Notion tutorials, and casual vlog style for journal entries.
• Create and refine channel branding elements such as intros, outros and thumbnail graphics.
• Collaborate via Google Drive, Discord, Notion and Zoom, and incorporate feedback to meet deadlines.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of video‑editing experience, preferably for YouTube or similar platforms.
• Fluent Arabic (spoken and written) with good English communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and manage timelines flexibly.
• Eager to grow with the channel and take ownership of creative direction.

Required skills

• Proficiency with video‑editing software of choice (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro).
• Experience creating thumbnails using Canva or similar design tools.

What we offer

• Fully remote work with a flexible schedule.
• Opportunity to shape a channel from scratch and grow responsibilities.
• Potential salary increases based on performance and quality.
