Restaurant General Manager

About the role

The Restaurant General Manager will lead the daily operations of Zenith’s restaurant, driving financial performance and enhancing guest experiences. Reporting to senior hotel leadership, you will partner with culinary teams and local stakeholders to position the outlet competitively in the market.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house activities, ensuring service and sanitation standards are met.
• Develop and adjust menus in collaboration with chefs to meet market demand.
• Manage purchasing, inventory control, and supplier negotiations to optimise costs.
• Implement revenue‑management strategies to maximise occupancy and profitability.
• Lead marketing and public‑relations initiatives, including social‑media content and event coordination.
• Conduct daily taste panels, set sales targets, and monitor ambiance elements such as lighting and music.
• Train, coach, and schedule staff, stepping in to perform duties when needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of food‑and‑beverage experience, or a 2‑year degree in Hospitality/Business with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to analyse market trends, competitor activity, and financial data.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with a focus on guest and employee satisfaction.
