Restaurant Manager

About the role

The Restaurant Manager will oversee daily operations of the restaurant, bar/lounge and room‑service areas in Amman. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences, maintaining high sanitation standards, and driving financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule staff, ensuring adequate coverage during peak periods.
• Maintain service quality, sanitation, and compliance with local food‑handling and liquor laws.
• Assist with menu planning, inventory control, and cost‑control initiatives.
• Train, coach, and mentor team members to improve performance and satisfaction.
• Monitor financial metrics, prepare reports, and implement strategies to meet revenue targets.
• Handle guest concerns promptly and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of food‑and‑beverage experience, **or** a 2‑year degree in Hospitality, Food Service Management, Business Administration, etc., with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to manage a team in a fast‑paced restaurant environment.
• Strong understanding of sanitation standards and local liquor regulations.
