Revenue Assurance Officer / Senior Officer

About the role

The Revenue Assurance Officer ensures that the telecom operator captures all revenue by monitoring fraud alerts, reconciling system data, and validating invoicing processes. The role involves continuous improvement of thresholds, analysis of call detail records, and proactive risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze fraud system alarms, investigate incidents, and resolve them in line with company policies.
• Update system thresholds regularly to reflect new packages and offers.
• Reconcile data across multiple systems, identify missing or mismatched CDRs, and prevent revenue loss.
• Validate GSM revenue streams and oversee invoice verification.
• Conduct periodic reviews of business processes, policies, and controls to identify fraud risks.
• Recommend improvements to processes, products, and projects to reduce fraud exposure.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Telecommunication Engineering, or a related field.
• Limited experience in revenue assurance, fraud management, or a related telecom function.
• Strong knowledge of the telecommunications industry and associated accounting standards.
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
• Familiarity with risk management, financial analysis, and reporting techniques.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Ability to write and interpret technical reports.
• Good understanding of accounting standards and finance assessment.
• Experience with risk measurement and assessment techniques.
• Competence in writing and executing SQL queries.
• Knowledge of building revenue assurance scenarios.
• Hands‑on experience with CBS POS Billing, CRM, CX and GL systems.
