Sales Manager – Retail & Project Channels

About the role

The Sales Manager will lead the entire sales function for a leading Jordanian supplier of ceramic tiles, sanitary ware and related accessories. The role covers two distinct channels – a retail showroom serving private clients and villa projects, and a project/tender business serving architects, contractors, hotels and institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an annual sales plan aligned with company revenue targets, set monthly and quarterly targets, and monitor performance.
• Analyse sales data by product, brand, client segment and salesperson, reporting findings and recommending actions.
• Lead, motivate and develop a sales team of approximately ten people, handling recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews and under‑performance management.
• Maintain strong relationships with architects, consultants, interior designers, contractors and project owners.
• Oversee tender and large‑project quotation preparation, ensuring technical compliance, competitive pricing and on‑time submission.
• Manage the full project sales cycle from specification to after‑sales support.
• Ensure all quotations are accurate, professional and issued within agreed response times, applying approved pricing policies.
• Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams on stock availability, lead times and delivery schedules.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales management, preferably in building‑materials or related sectors.
• Ability to lead and develop a team of around ten sales professionals.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret sales performance data.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with architects, contractors and institutional clients.
• Result‑oriented mindset with a focus on achieving revenue targets.
