School Age Teacher

About the role

Cadence Education is seeking a passionate School Age Teacher to join its early childhood team. Working under the direction of the School Director and Lead Teacher, you will help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for preschool‑aged children.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily classroom operations and maintain consistent routines.
• Assist the Lead Teacher in planning and delivering developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Greet children and families, fostering welcoming and professional relationships.
• Recognize and respond to individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including following IEPs and behavior support plans.
• Document and report accidents, incidents, and child behavior according to Cadence policies.
• Communicate with families, coworkers, and leadership using Cadence‑approved tools and systems.

Required profile

• Experience in childcare, daycare, or early childhood education.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
• Commitment to maintaining safety, licensing compliance, and a positive classroom atmosphere.
