Security Officer – Flexible Shifts

About the role

Allied Universal® is seeking motivated individuals to join its Security Officer Flex team. This position offers the freedom to choose shifts through an exclusive platform, allowing you to work across various industries such as healthcare, education, and finance while gaining valuable on‑site experience.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol designated areas on foot or in a vehicle, monitoring for irregular conditions.
• Respond to alarms, fire, or unauthorized presence by notifying police or fire services.
• Enforce site rules, warn violators, and control access to the property.
• Observe departures to prevent theft and ensure proper removal of assets.
• Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and maintain required logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously.
• Issue emergency notifications as dictated by site post orders.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Valid driver’s license if operating a vehicle.
• At least 18 years of age (21 if armed, depending on state).
• Ability to pass background investigation and drug screening.
