Security Officer

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Security Officer to patrol our property, ensure guest safety, and respond to incidents. The role involves monitoring security systems, conducting inspections, and providing assistance during emergencies while maintaining a professional presence.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and control access to rooms.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress alarms, and fire‑life safety systems.
• Lock property entrances when required and conduct daily hazard inspections.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, and contact EMS as needed.
• Assist guests and employees during emergencies and defuse disturbances.
• Complete incident reports, loss‑prevention shift summaries, and maintain confidentiality of all records.
• Escort unwelcome persons, report vehicle accidents/thefts, and call for outside assistance using proper codes.
• Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and interview relevant parties.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, sit, walk, or run for extended periods and lift objects up to 50 lb unaided.
• Physical fitness to respond quickly to security situations.
• Clear communication skills and professional appearance.
• Compliance with company policies, safety training, and any local licensing requirements.
