Senior Account Manager

About the role

The Senior Account Manager will own a portfolio of data‑center accounts, driving revenue growth and strengthening relationships with existing and prospective customers. Reporting to the Territory Sales Manager, the role combines strategic account planning with hands‑on execution of sales and marketing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement account strategies and road‑maps aligned with corporate objectives.
• Produce accurate sales forecasts and set targets for the assigned portfolio.
• Lead vendor relationships and ensure alignment with company strategy.
• Expand sales through new and existing channels, building a robust customer database.
• Conduct market research and define product requirements based on customer visits.
• Manage the full sales cycle from quotation to collection, including credit assessment.
• Oversee inventory tracking and stock management.
• Provide high‑level support to channel partners and resolve queries promptly.
• Monitor and report on marketing program performance, recommending improvements.
• Evaluate and improve business processes for efficiency and standardisation.
• Utilise Salesforce.com CRM for lead, opportunity and deal registration management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Data Center Passive Infrastructure business (Power, Cooling, etc.).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Salesforce.com CRM.
• Knowledge of Data Center Passive Infrastructure, including power and cooling systems.
• Experience with inventory management systems.
