Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will independently manage accounting activities in line with local GAAP, ensure tax compliance, and support the finance function across multiple jurisdictions. This position works closely with headquarters, external auditors, and local authorities to maintain accurate financial reporting and mitigate risks.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accounting records in accordance with local GAAP.
• Handle tax declarations and ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws.
• Review contracts and payments for tax and internal management compliance.
• Coordinate with external audit firms to ensure smooth financial operations and reporting.
• Analyze policy changes affecting tax regulations, financial data, and market trends, providing strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate financial and tax risks.
• Manage relationships with local tax offices, banks, auditors, and other authorities.
• Maintain regular communication with headquarters and assist with additional finance tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of finance management experience with international exposure.
• Fluent in English; Chinese language skills are a plus.
• Strong understanding of international financial regulations and compliance.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Self‑motivated, able to work under pressure, and willing to travel.
