Senior Accounting Specialist

About the role

Are you a hands‑on accounting professional with deep SAP Business One expertise and a knack for financial integrations and automation? We are looking for a Senior Accounting Specialist to oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations, manage financial closings, and partner with IT to optimise our system architecture in a multi‑entity environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily accounting activities in SAP Business One, ensuring accurate posting and classification.
• Prepare full IFRS‑compliant financial statements and manage month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Handle high‑volume transactions across multiple legal entities while maintaining strong internal controls.
• Perform bank, customer, supplier, GL and intercompany reconciliations and oversee master data integrity.
• Define finance requirements for SAP Business One integrations, validate API transaction flows and collaborate with IT and external partners.
• Identify and resolve system reconciliation gaps, drive process automation and provide financial analysis for management.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA, CMA or ACCA a strong plus.
• Proven hands‑on experience with SAP Business One.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting regulations.
• Experience managing multi‑entity, high‑volume transactional environments.
• Demonstrated ability to work on system integrations, API validation and accounting automation.
• High analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
