Senior Audit & Assurance – External Audit (JRC)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Senior professional to join its Audit & Assurance team within the Jordanian Resources Center (JRC) in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on external audit engagements, supporting clients in meeting regulatory requirements and enhancing risk management practices.

Key responsibilities

• Build trust with stakeholders by understanding service expectations and delivering high‑quality audit services.
• Interpret regulatory and risk‑management impacts on business processes and controls.
• Prepare and adapt referral instructions, clearly defining audit scope and focus areas.
• Liaise with on‑shore and off‑shore Centres of Excellence, ensuring accurate information exchange.
• Track deliverables from component auditors and integrate risks, controls, procedures, and findings across the audit file.
• Articulate audit quality milestones and ensure they are met throughout the engagement.
• Prepare documentation that anticipates reviewer questions and distinguishes accounting from auditing judgments.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in external audit and assurance.
• Strong understanding of audit methodology, risk assessment, and regulatory environments.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both on‑shore and off‑shore teams.
• Proactive approach to identifying and addressing audit issues.
