Senior Backend Developer

About the role

Orange Jordan is looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join its technology team. You will work on enterprise‑level applications, shaping the future of digital services while ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.
• Implement secure REST APIs with JWT, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect.
• Build and optimise database interactions using JPA/Hibernate with MySQL.
• Collaborate with front‑end teams to deliver responsive UI using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Containerise applications with Docker and manage source code with Git.
• Stay current with Java 17 features and continuously improve code quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of professional software development experience, primarily in Java.
• Proven experience on enterprise‑scale projects.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and adaptability to new technologies.
