Senior Business Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join the Business Analytics team and lead requirements engineering for government e‑services and digital transformation programmes. The role bridges business needs and technical delivery, using AI tools to accelerate analysis while ensuring data‑sensitivity and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation for government digital initiatives.
• Produce Business Requirement Documents, user stories/PBIs with clear acceptance criteria, BPMN 2.0 process models and maintain full traceability in Azure DevOps.
• Facilitate workshops with government stakeholders, resolve conflicts and obtain formal sign‑offs.
• Map as‑is and to‑be processes, identify dependencies, edge cases and non‑functional requirements such as security, privacy and performance.
• Apply AI tools (LLMs, prompt engineering) to speed up analysis and documentation while validating sensitive data.
• Support UAT, act as a bridge between business and technical teams, and ensure solutions meet objectives.
• Mentor junior analysts and uphold BA methodology and standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business or related field; CBAP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of hands‑on Business Analysis experience, preferably in government or public‑sector digital services within the UAE/GCC.
• Proven experience in greenfield requirements gathering, not limited to ERP or pre‑sales.
• Fluent in Arabic and English with strong stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• BPMN 2.0 process modelling (Visio, Lucidchart, Camunda, draw.io).
• Backlog management and Agile delivery using Azure DevOps or Jira.
• AI‑assisted analysis and documentation (LLMs, prompt engineering).
• Experience with e‑services standards, ECM/document management, omni‑channel delivery and UAE PASS integration.
• Basic wireframing/prototyping (Figma) and data/BI awareness (Power BI).
