Senior Business Development Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Business Development Engineer to join our dynamic team in Amman. The role focuses on expanding our engineering services by identifying growth opportunities, building strategic client relationships, and supporting proposal development.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target markets.
• Conduct market research and analyse industry trends, competitors and client needs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Prepare and support the development of proposals, presentations and bids for new projects.
• Collaborate with technical and engineering teams to align project capabilities with client requirements.
• Contribute to strategic business development plans aimed at expanding market presence.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities.
• Prepare periodic reports on business development activities, opportunities and outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• 7–12 years of business development experience in the engineering or consulting industry.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, results‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using CRM software (preferred).
• Knowledge of engineering project lifecycles and consultancy services.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
