Senior DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

InvoiceQ is seeking a Senior DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join its Amman office. You will design, build, and maintain a secure, highly‑available cloud environment that powers the company’s regional e‑invoicing platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and operate scalable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (YAML, releases, repositories).
• Administer Linux and Windows servers, containers (Docker) and Kubernetes clusters (AKS preferred).
• Apply infrastructure‑as‑code practices with Terraform or similar tools.
• Implement security best practices, IAM, RBAC, key‑vault/secret management, and endpoint protection.
• Monitor system performance, logging, and alerting; optimise resource utilisation.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to automate deployments and improve observability.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure incidents and contribute to architectural decisions, disaster‑recovery and incident‑response processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps, cloud or infrastructure engineering.
• Hands‑on experience managing production environments in multi‑cloud (Azure & OCI) settings.
• Relevant Azure and OCI certifications are a strong advantage.
• Proven ability to solve complex infrastructure problems and work autonomously.
