Senior External Audit – Audit & Assurance (JRC)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Senior professional to join its Audit & Assurance team supporting the Jordanian Resources Center in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on external audit engagements, building trust with stakeholders and delivering high‑quality audit services while navigating regulatory and risk considerations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their service expectations and risk profile.
• Deliver high‑quality audit work by applying knowledge of regulations, risk management, and industry statistics.
• Adapt and prepare referral instructions, clearly defining audit scope and focus areas.
• Liaise with on‑shore and off‑shore Centres of Excellence, ensuring accurate and complete information exchange.
• Track deliverables from component auditors and integrate risks, controls, and findings across the audit file.
• Articulate audit quality milestones and contribute to overall audit quality.
• Prepare documentation anticipating reviewer questions and differentiate accounting judgments from audit judgments.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in external audit, preferably within a large professional services firm.
• Strong understanding of audit regulations, risk management, and industry‑specific considerations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with global teams and manage multiple deliverables.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
