Senior Full-Stack Developer (Python/React) – Freelance

About the role

We are seeking a senior full-stack developer to join Fekra AI on a freelance basis, focusing on a live B2B production platform. The role is remote but limited to candidates based in Egypt.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize existing features and design new modules for the platform.
• Manage background workflows, complex web automation, and document processing pipelines.
• Handle end-to-end deployments on Linux using Docker, ensuring stability and scalability.
• Troubleshoot API failures, automation edge cases, and OCR challenges independently.

Required profile

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Deep understanding of system architecture, micro-services and production-grade code.
• Experience delivering production-ready software in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Python (FastAPI, Django, Flask) and PostgreSQL.
• React with state-management libraries such as Redux, Zustand or React Query.
• Browser automation and web scraping using Playwright or Selenium.
• OCR and document processing tools like Tesseract, AWS Textract or Google Vision.
• DevOps tools: Docker, Git, Linux, message queues (Celery, RabbitMQ, Kafka).
