Senior Full Stack Engineer – Optimization Team

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Full‑Stack Engineer to join Foodics’ Optimization Team. You will own the design, development and operation of internal tools that support sales, operations and support functions across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of internal tools, from idea through architecture, implementation, deployment and maintenance.
• Translate operational and business problems into working software, often from rough briefs.
• Develop full‑stack features using React/TypeScript on the frontend and Node.js/Express on the backend, with PostgreSQL data layers.
• Leverage AI coding agents (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable) to boost productivity.
• Make pragmatic architecture decisions and document them for future developers or AI agents.
• Deploy and operate services on Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Secret Manager, etc.).
• Partner with the Optimization team’s Director and analysts to prioritize and shape product development.
• Integrate with internal and external systems such as Foodics Pay, Salesforce, Wathq and Metabase via APIs and webhooks.
• Ensure production health through monitoring, incident response and security considerations.
• Mentor other engineers and review pull requests, while continuously improving CI/CD pipelines, branch protection, secret management and staging environments.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional full‑stack engineering experience with production‑grade systems.
• Strong command of modern JavaScript/TypeScript across the stack.
• Proficiency in building front‑end applications with React.
• Experience with backend development using Node.js and Express.
• Hands‑on experience with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
