Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

Orange Jordan is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to lead and execute audit engagements across its Orange Money operations and other business units. The role involves planning, performing, and reporting on audits while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing the annual audit plan covering major risk areas and special projects.
• Design audit methodologies, define scope and approach, and obtain manager approval.
• Execute audit projects: survey activities, perform analyses, run audit programs, prepare work papers, and evaluate internal controls.
• Document findings clearly and maintain working papers that support conclusions and recommendations.
• Manage time effectively to meet deadlines while handling multiple assignments.
• Prepare and deliver audit results through written reports and oral presentations to internal audit managers and external stakeholders.
• Follow up on audit findings to ensure corrective actions are implemented and effective.
• Support investigations of suspected fraud and report results to the Internal Audit Manager.
• Assist in board and audit committee meeting preparations, providing updates on control issues and emerging audit practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• 3‑5 years of experience in public‑accounting audit environments.
• Experience with IT audit is a plus.
• Advanced degree or professional certification such as CIA or CPA is preferred.
