Senior Legal Associate

About the role

Equiti is seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Legal Associate to join its Legal department in Amman. You will provide comprehensive legal support across corporate, commercial, regulatory and fintech matters.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on corporate, commercial and regulatory issues, draft and negotiate a wide range of agreements and regulatory filings.
• Support licensing, compliance, governance, investigations and engagements with regulators.
• Assist with M&A transactions, due diligence and documentation.
• Provide legal support for fund management, investment structures, payment services and fintech projects.
• Handle pre‑litigation matters, client disputes and employment law issues.
• Manage intellectual property protection, brand agreements and corporate governance matters.
• Monitor legal developments and collaborate with external counsel on cross‑border projects.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with at least 3 years post‑qualification experience.
• Dual fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
• Training or experience at an international or top‑tier law firm.
• Strong drafting, analytical, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Commercial mindset with excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
