Senior Logistics Supervisor

About the role

The Senior Logistics Supervisor will lead daily logistics operations, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods while fostering a high‑performing team. This position coordinates across multiple departments and drives process improvements to boost service quality and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor logistics staff, providing guidance and support for performance and professional development.
• Oversee daily logistics activities, including warehousing, inventory management, and transportation, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Analyze logistics processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements to reduce costs and enhance service delivery.
• Collaborate with sales, customer service, and procurement teams to ensure seamless logistics operations and customer satisfaction.
• Track and report logistics KPIs, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and maintain optimal stock to meet demand.
• Manage relationships with external logistics providers, negotiate contracts, and ensure SLA compliance.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, security, and environmental regulations.
• Provide training and development opportunities for staff in logistics and supply chain management.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve logistics issues promptly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of logistics or supply chain experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of logistics processes, inventory management, and transportation operations.
