About the role

We are seeking a Senior Non-Key Expert to provide technical assistance on macroeconomic and fiscal analysis, structural reforms, economic resilience and evidence‑based policy development for the EU‑funded “Egypt Downtown Facility” project.

Key responsibilities

Conduct macroeconomic, fiscal and structural reform analyses for Egyptian partner entities.
Prepare economic assessments, policy analyses, background papers and recommendations.
Support the development of evidence‑based economic policies to enhance competitiveness and resilience.

Required profile

Master’s degree in economics, macroeconomics, public finance, development economics or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience.
Fluent English (C1); Arabic highly desirable.

Required skills

Experience analysing macroeconomic, fiscal and structural reform policies.
Ability to prepare economic assessments and policy recommendation documents.
Understanding of economic resilience, competitiveness and reform programmes.
