Senior Manager, Logistics

About the role

Nestlé Operational Services Worldwide is looking for a Senior Manager, Logistics (also titled Senior Manager, Supply Chain and Cluster Logistics Manager) based in Amman, Jordan. The role reports to the Associate Director, Supply Chain and leads logistics operations across the cluster, driving warehouse and transportation activities through the country logistics teams and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead warehousing, transportation, customs clearance and distribution operations across the cluster through country logistics teams and logistics partners.
• Execute the MENA functional strategy roadmap and support the logistics team in the OPC to improve customer service, LC2A savings and COD optimization.
• Lead the 3PL operational relationship in coordination with the OPC logistics teams, and drive safety, quality, compliance and sustainability.
• Collaborate with sales, DSP, CFSC and O2C to maintain customer service levels and meet evolving business needs.
• Manage the logistics budget and deliver annual cost-optimization objectives through efficiency improvements.
• Ensure timely customs clearance, inbound operations, outbound deliveries and order fulfilment, and set performance standards for logistics partners.
• Evaluate and coach suppliers and 3PL providers, review supplier agreements on time and archive logistics documentation accurately.
• Lead logistics transformation, digitalization and capability-development initiatives, and support logistics investments and CAPEX.
• Coach country logistics teams and build their functional capabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• At least eight years of progressive logistics and supply chain experience, including a senior management or regional leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing suppliers and 3PL providers; FMCG or similar complex environments preferred.
• Fluent in both Arabic and English.

Required skills

• Knowledge of logistics budgeting, distribution costs, cost drivers and cost optimization.
• Advanced analytical skills to turn operational and financial data into action.
• APICS CSCP or another relevant certification is a plus.
