Senior Mechanical Engineer

About the role

The Senior Mechanical Engineer will lead mechanical design projects from concept through detailed engineering and implementation. This full‑time, on‑site position in Amman requires delivering robust, safe, and compliant solutions for complex mechanical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage mechanical design projects, including concept generation, calculations, and detailed engineering.
• Create, review, and validate CAD models and technical drawings.
• Ensure designs meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to keep projects on schedule.
• Lead prototyping, testing, and data‑driven design improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the UAE on complex mechanical systems.
• Proven expertise in machine design, design standards, and manufacturing methods.
• Strong project‑management abilities, including planning, scheduling, and stakeholder coordination.
• Experience in R&D, prototyping, testing, and data analysis.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and international standards.
• Effective communication and leadership skills to mentor team members.
