Senior Network Security Architect (WatchGuard / UniFi)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Network Security Architect to lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of our multi‑site network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise with WatchGuard firewalls and UniFi environments, ensuring a secure and high‑performing network across all locations.

Key responsibilities

• Full administration of WatchGuard appliances, including firewall policies, VPN tunnels, whitelisting, and security subscriptions.
• Optimize traffic flow and performance across UniFi switches, wireless APs, VLANs, and multi‑site connectivity.
• Lead site deployments, firmware upgrades, and preventative maintenance activities.
• Monitor health, analyze speed, security, throughput, and redundancy metrics, and proactively eliminate points of failure.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure network resilience and compliance.

Required profile

• WCNSA certification preferred; CCNA, Network+ or equivalent accepted.
• Extensive experience with VLAN architecture, firewall rule management, and VPN design.
• Proven background in multi‑site enterprise network deployments, preferably within an MSP environment.
• Strong proactive problem‑solving mindset and ability to work independently.
