Senior Packaging Designer – Folding Cartons & Corrugated Packaging

About the role

Al Noor Printing Press is seeking a Senior Packaging Designer to lead the creation of folding cartons and litho‑laminated corrugated packaging. The role combines creative design, structural development and hands‑on prototype production to deliver market‑ready packaging solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop packaging concepts for folding cartons and litho‑laminated corrugated boxes.
• Create production‑ready artwork, dielines and structural files.
• Produce physical prototypes using cutting plotters and sample‑making equipment.
• Collaborate with customers, pre‑press, production and sales teams to ensure feasibility and brand consistency.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of offset printing and pre‑press requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of professional packaging design experience, preferably in a printing or packaging manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on expertise with folding cartons and/or litho‑laminated corrugated packaging.
• Strong understanding of dielines, carton structures, dimensions, folding and cutting processes.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Valid driving licence and personal vehicle.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
• Experience with Esko ArtiosCAD or equivalent structural packaging software.
• Knowledge of offset printing and pre‑press workflows.
• Operation of carton sample‑making / cutting plotter machines.
