Senior QA Automation Engineer

About the role

CFI Financial Group is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to strengthen its quality assurance capabilities across trading platforms. You will design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks that ensure high‑quality releases in a fast‑paced online trading environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for features and user stories, including BDD scenarios written in Gherkin.
• Design, build, and scale test automation frameworks, enforcing coding standards and best practices.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) for regression, smoke, and quality‑gate testing.
• Drive API test automation and align it with UI and database validation.
• Implement test data management strategies to ensure environment independence.
• Detect, quarantine, and stabilize flaky tests to keep pipelines reliable.
• Explore AI‑driven test generation and AI‑augmented quality practices.
• Conduct code reviews of automation scripts and mentor team members on best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 4+ years of hands‑on QA automation experience, preferably in finance or trading systems.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Proven ability to design and maintain automation frameworks from scratch.
