Senior QA Engineer

About the role

Sitech is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to lead quality assurance for its digital products. You will own the testing strategy for complex web and mobile applications, mentor a team of QA engineers, and act as the primary quality liaison with clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan and execute test strategies for web and mobile applications.
• Perform both manual and automated testing to detect and resolve defects.
• Test RESTful APIs and backend integrations.
• Track and manage defects using JIRA and collaborate with development teams.
• Write and run SQL queries to verify data integrity in MySQL and MongoDB.
• Mentor and allocate tasks for a team of QA engineers.
• Communicate requirements and status updates directly with clients.
• Participate in sprint reviews, retrospectives and project meetings as the quality representative.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of QA experience with web and mobile applications.
• Proven experience leading QA efforts and managing a team.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and client‑facing skills.
• ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level preferred.
