Senior QA Frontend Engineer

About the role

Almosafer is seeking a Senior QA Frontend Engineer to ensure the quality of its travel platforms. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, user‑friendly web experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Understand complex business domains, define test scope, and contribute to requirements analysis.
• Collaborate across Agile teams to embed quality throughout the SDLC.
• Design, develop, and execute functional frontend tests and integration tests with APIs and backend systems.
• Leverage AI tools for test case generation, UI/API failure analysis, and bug‑reporting automation.
• Use prompt‑engineering techniques to boost exploratory testing, coverage, and test data creation.
• Build and maintain automated test suites with Cypress.
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and technical discussions to improve product quality.
• Communicate testing progress, risks, and status to stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement of QA processes and standards.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software testing experience, preferably with web and API testing.
• Strong ability to grasp complex business domains and define test use cases.
• Proven experience in Agile, cross‑functional environments.
• Skilled in JavaScript‑based automation, especially Cypress.
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman and backend validation techniques.
• Exposure to AI‑assisted testing tools (e.g., Cursor AI, GitHub Copilot) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Proactive communicator who collaborates effectively with distributed teams.
