Senior QC Engineer (Software Testing)

About the role

The Senior QC Engineer will lead manual, automated, API and performance testing efforts to ensure high‑quality software releases. Reporting to the QC Lead, you will work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment adopting modern testing practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, write and execute manual test cases covering functional, regression, integration, end‑to‑end, API and performance testing.
• Develop, maintain and run automated test scripts, integrate them into CI/CD pipelines and continuously improve the automation framework.
• Conduct performance testing (load, stress, endurance) using tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner and work with development teams to resolve bottlenecks.
• Utilize AI‑assisted testing tools for test case generation, data creation and defect analysis.
• Prepare and deliver testing artifacts including test plans, traceability matrices, defect reports and test summary reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or equivalent.
• 6+ years of software quality control experience, including 5+ years in manual testing and 2+ years in test automation.
• Professional testing certification such as ISTQB‑CTFL or ISTQB‑CTAL.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to perform root‑cause analysis.

• Manual testing techniques (functional, regression, integration, end‑to‑end).
• Test automation tools/frameworks: Selenium, Cypress, Appium, TestNG, JUnit.
• Performance testing tools: JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, k6.
• CI/CD pipeline integration and scripting.
• AI‑assisted testing tools for test generation and defect analysis.
