Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer with 5–8 years of experience in test automation and banking systems testing. The role focuses on ensuring high‑quality delivery of core and digital banking applications across web, mobile, and API platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements to define testing scope.
• Develop and review test strategies, plans, scenarios, and test cases.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, API, end‑to‑end, SIT, UAT, and smoke tests.
• Validate core banking, mobile banking, internet banking, middleware, payment systems, and third‑party integrations.
• Log, track, and verify defects using JIRA and ensure release readiness.
• Maintain compliance with SDLC, STLC, change management, and information security policies.
• Prepare dashboards, defect metrics, and status reports.
• Support automation adoption, identify regression suites, and mentor junior engineers.
• Collaborate with development, business units, vendors, project management, and infrastructure teams.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of professional experience in test automation and banking QA.
• Strong knowledge of core banking and digital banking applications.
• Experience working in Agile or Waterfall environments.
