About the role

The Senior SNG Technician supports the Outside Broadcast Engineer in maintaining and operating satellite news‑gathering (SNG) equipment for AlMamlaka TV. The role ensures that all broadcast hardware is functional, clean, and ready for live news coverage, contributing to the channel’s high‑quality news delivery.

Key responsibilities

Assist the Outside Broadcast Engineer with setup, testing, and troubleshooting of SNG units.
Perform routine inspections, cleaning, and preventive maintenance of broadcast equipment.
Coordinate with engineering departments before undertaking any maintenance tasks.
Respond quickly to equipment malfunctions and execute emergency repairs.
Carry out any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor that align with the job scope.

Required profile

Diploma in Radio and Television or a related field.
Minimum six years of experience in broadcast equipment maintenance.
Strong initiative and ability to handle emergency situations.
Proficient written communication for technical reporting.
