Senior Software Engineer (Backend & Full-Stack)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our fast-growing AI & IT company in Irbid, Jordan. The role focuses on designing, building and optimizing scalable backend and full-stack solutions within a cloud-native environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high-quality software using .NET (C#), JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Build and enhance microservices-based architectures and distributed systems.
• Implement data storage solutions with PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch and message-queue technologies such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and event-driven components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-performance applications.
• Deploy, monitor and troubleshoot containers using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and ensure automated delivery processes.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in .NET (C#) and solid experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with microservices, distributed architectures and cloud-native environments.
• Practical knowledge of PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch and message-queue systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker and modern CI/CD practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
