Senior Spring Boot Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Spring Boot Engineer to lead the development and deployment of enterprise‑grade backend solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong Java coding abilities with deep expertise in complex on‑premise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot and the broader Spring ecosystem.
• Create robust REST APIs and microservices, integrating with databases, messaging systems, and third‑party services.
• Implement security and identity solutions such as SSO, LDAP/Active Directory, Keycloak, OAuth2, and JWT.
• Integrate event streaming platforms like Kafka and handle external API communications.
• Troubleshoot application, integration, database, and performance issues across development, staging, and production.
• Lead architecture and technical design discussions.
• Deploy and support applications in complex on‑premise settings, managing Linux servers, Docker containers, NGINX, SSL certificates, proxies, load balancers, firewalls, and restricted network configurations.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, database, cybersecurity, and DevOps teams.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools and perform production log analysis and root‑cause investigations.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of professional Java development experience.
• Extensive hands‑on work with Spring Boot, Spring Security, JPA/Hibernate, and related technologies.
• Proven experience delivering and supporting applications in enterprise on‑premise environments.
• Strong Linux administration and deployment troubleshooting skills.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, SSL/TLS, DNS, proxies, load balancers, and firewalls.
• Ability to manage the full software lifecycle from coding to production support independently.
