Senior Technical Architect

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Technical Architect to lead the technical development, coordination, and delivery of architectural projects in Riyadh. The successful candidate will ensure design integrity, compliance with codes, and seamless integration across all disciplines from concept to construction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the creation and review of architectural designs throughout all project phases.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Provide technical direction to project teams during design development and construction documentation.
• Coordinate architectural deliverables with structural, MEP, landscape, and specialist consultants.
• Facilitate multidisciplinary design workshops and clash‑resolution meetings.
• Oversee preparation and quality review of construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and tender documents.
• Conduct technical audits, peer reviews, and quality assurance of shop drawings, material submittals, and RFIs.
• Manage authority approvals, ensuring compliance with local regulations, fire safety, accessibility, and sustainability requirements.
• Support tendering, procurement, and construction phases with technical expertise.
• Mentor junior architects and promote best‑practice technical standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 10 years of professional architectural experience, including at least 5 years in a senior technical role.
• Proven experience leading large‑scale architectural projects in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.

Required skills

• BIM (Building Information Modeling) proficiency.
