Server – Fairmont Gold

About the role

The Fairmont Gold team is looking for a Server to deliver exceptional guest service across all areas of the property. You will be the face of the restaurant, assisting guests with menu choices, handling inquiries and ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist guests with queries and menu recommendations, following outlet policies and service standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, wear the correct uniform and badge, and sign attendance records at the start and end of each shift.
• Work across Front Office and restaurant areas, supporting the Manager and Lead Servers in training new staff.
• Handle complaints according to established procedures and ensure safety and sanitation standards are met.

Required profile

• Previous service experience is an asset.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment and as part of a team.
• Good English language skills; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Computer and system literacy, preferably with Opera or a related property management system.
• Knowledge of beverage lists, menu items, garnishes and preparation methods.
