Service Engineer

About the role

The Service Engineer will be based on‑site in Amman, providing full‑time technical support for laboratory, medical and healthcare equipment. You will ensure that all systems operate safely and efficiently through installation, maintenance and repair activities.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission and configure new laboratory and medical devices at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on a wide range of equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections, diagnose technical faults and troubleshoot issues on‑site.
• Provide field service visits, delivering technical support and documenting all service activities.
• Coordinate with internal teams to schedule service tasks and obtain spare parts.
• Communicate clearly with customers about service plans, findings and outcomes.
• Support continuous improvement of service processes and contribute to high‑quality after‑sales service.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering, electronics, biomedical engineering or a related field.
• Proven field service experience with installation, commissioning and on‑site support of technical equipment.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple service requests.
• Willingness to travel locally and work in clinical and laboratory environments.
• Previous experience with laboratory, medical or healthcare equipment is an advantage.
