Service Technician

About the role

The Service Technician will install, maintain, and troubleshoot passive network infrastructure for client sites. This role involves on‑site technical support and ensuring installations meet safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot cabling, racks, patch panels, fiber optics, and conduits.
• Conduct site surveys and produce reports on network readiness.
• Perform structured cabling, termination, and testing according to industry standards.
• Support project teams in delivering passive network solutions.
• Document work performed and keep project records up to date.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Communications Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience with passive networking systems (cabling, fiber, copper).
• Car ownership with a valid driving licence.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills and customer‑oriented attitude.

Required skills

• Passive network infrastructure installation.

• Knowledge of TIA/EIA and ISO/IEC cabling standards.
• Fiber optics and copper cabling expertise.
