SharePoint Architect

About the role

The SharePoint Architect will lead the design, implementation, and documentation of SharePoint solutions that support mission‑critical activities for a U.S. government contract in Jordan. This senior technical position works closely with IT staff, project leaders, and end‑users to ensure alignment with government requirements and mission objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for SharePoint infrastructure, development, and operational practices.
• Define, develop, and document mission requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications on a project‑by‑project basis.
• Provide senior technical guidance, consult on architectural decisions, and ensure successful project outcomes.
• Implement SharePoint solutions in compliance with government regulations and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Manage the use of SharePoint to support mission‑critical activities and long‑term initiatives.
• Travel up to 10% to support mission sites as needed.

Required profile

• Active U.S. Government Secret clearance (interim acceptable) and U.S. citizenship.
• Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience, including at least three (3) years supporting SMS 2003, SCCM 2007, or SCCM 2012 in an enterprise environment.
• Security+ certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Management or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
