Software Engineer – Dev Retrieval Platform

About the role

Cotiviti is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Dev Retrieval Platform team. You will design, develop, and maintain both front‑end and back‑end components of our product suite while ensuring high performance, scalability, and accessibility.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications and reusable components following SDLC phases and coding standards.
• Build responsive, accessible front‑end web applications using modern UI frameworks.
• Develop and support robust back‑end services leveraging SQL Server and other relational databases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues reported by internal and external customers.
• Implement enhancements to improve performance, scalability, and availability.
• Communicate technical and operational issues clearly to engineering and business leadership.
• Participate in code reviews, quality‑assurance practices, and adherence to technology standards.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and integrate them into Cotiviti products.
• Collaborate with senior developers, offshore teams, and cross‑functional stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of experience architecting, designing, and developing applications using .NET Core and Angular.
• Five years of hands‑on development with ASP.NET, MVC, C#, XML, JSON, HTML, TypeScript, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Agile/Waterfall SDLC methodologies and Scrum.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
• Experience using CI/CD pipeline tools.
• Strong background with SQL Server or other relational databases.
• Ability to work remotely from anywhere in the United States.
